The firm started its business under the name and style SEKATI ATTORNEYS. It was later registered as SEKATI-SEKATI INCORPORATED with companies and intellectual Property Commission in 2012. Under Reg No 2012/226119/21. We are a 100% Black Owned law firm medium sized firm of (four)highly skilled and academically accomplished attorneys, 3(three) secretaries and three support staff members strategically placed to deal with the needs of fast growing entities and government structures at all levels.

UED (HEBRON COLLEGE OF EDUCATION), PROC - LLB NORTH WEST CAMPUS UNIVERSITY
Mr. Sekati is an admitted Attorney of the High Court, who served his article of Clerkship with the firm Sekati- Monyane INC in 2003 – 2004 specializing in Civil Litigation, Dispute Resolution, Conveyancing and MVA/Personal Injury. In 2005 – 2007 he worked as a legal adviser for scorpion Legal Protection where he acquired vast experience in Labour Relation Matter and Insurance Law. In 2007 – 2008 he joined the firm Masilo Inc where he was exposed to the following high profile matters.
Mr. Sekati is a Liquidator taking instructions from the Johannesburg, Pretoria and Mafikeng matter of the High Court. He is highly motivated in transfers and sales of Properties as a Liquidator/Trustee and has gained vast experience in Commercial / Corporate Law Services.
LLB- LLM (UNISA)
She has vast knowledge in IT Law and Data Protection as LLM (Masters) focuses mainly on the principles regulating the processing of personal information at the workplace. Currently a lecturer for Cyber law at the University of Forte Hare working together with Professor Sizwe Snail who is a regulator at Information Regulator of South Africa and has expanded her knowledge on data protection compliance

Her duty as the lecturer requires her to conduct extensive research on the topic and has afforded her the opportunity to become familiar with the provisions of the Protection of Personal Information Act 3 of 2014 (hereinafter referred as POPIA) as a result, she has gained extensive knowledge in the field of Data Protection Law.
ICT
Dr Motau has been assisting our firm as an ICT and Risk Management Project Manager. He has assisted our firm in the review and update of ICT Policies for the GEPF, SMU and GPAA.
He is experienced in digital transformation Strategies, ICT Compliance and other ICT work studies.
LLB, LLM COMMERCIAL LAW(PRETORIA)
She completed her articles with Haasbroek & Boezart Attorney in 2003, she was actively involved in Property Law, Insolvency and Civil Litigation. In 2007, she joined the firm MASILO INC and was involved in forensic investigation on behalf of the Department of Land Affairs in 2007- 2011.
In January 2014 she joined our firm. She is involved in Commercial law, local Government and Public law assisting SALGA. Ms Bodibe is a Director and Supervisor in our Litigation Department for MVA, Insolvency and Commercial Law.
She is part of our team and provides strategic legal advice and proactively manages our business legal requirements such as compliant risk managerial strategies, operational goals and the regulatory landscape our firm is operating in.
LLB - (UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH AFRICA)
Molebogeng found our firm in January 2021. She is our Candidate Attorney and has worked with Fair- bridges Wertheim Becker Attorneys as a Legal Receptionist from 09/2015 – 12/2020. Her training includes, High Court and Magistrate Litigation, PO- PIA workshop training, MVA and Medical Negligence matters, Corporate and Commercial Law amongst other things.
She is currently attending practical legal training with LEAD and will also be completing her Attorneys Admission examination.
BACHELOR OF LAWS (LLB- NORTH WEST UNIVERSITY, MAFIKENG CAMPUS)
Mr Nkhumise joined our firm in September 2019. as our Candidate Attorney and comes with vast experience from training as a student assistant and advisor at the University.
His training includes assisting all departments from MVA, Labour etc. he is also very good with assisting client consultation, preparation of Court documents, research and allocation of files.
Mr Nkhumise has recently been admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa
